Feeling alone

When you have to rely on yourself

Sometimes feeling alone isn't about being surrounded by people or not. It's about feeling like there's nobody you can really rely on.

You might be used to handling everything yourself — making decisions alone, dealing with things when they go wrong, and carrying the responsibility for your life because there doesn’t seem to be anyone else to lean on.

You can be independent and self capable, while underneath there’s still a longing for something different. To have people you can trust. People you can rely on. People who make you feel important, wanted and cared about.

Over time, it can leave us feeling like nobody really gets us. Nobody is truly there for us. And at its deepest, feeling alone can become this quiet sense that, at the end of the day, we're on our own. —> Reach out to me

Feeling invisible

Sometimes it can feel like everyone else gets noticed, while somehow you get overlooked.

You might put yourself out there, make an effort, show an interest in people or share your ideas, only to watch other people being listened to, appreciated, included, sought out, or chosen instead.

Over time, you can start to wonder, why not me? You want to feel noticed. To feel like people are interested in you. To feel wanted, valued and like you matter. —> Connect with me

Social Isolation

Sometimes loneliness isn't just about how connected we feel to the people around us. Sometimes there simply aren't many people around.

Life changes, relationships end, friends move away, or we find ourselves gradually becoming more isolated than we ever expected. Days can start to feel repetitive, and it can become harder to imagine how things could be different. Over time, loneliness can begin to affect how we see ourselves and whether we feel we belong anywhere —> I’d like to hear from you.
