About Me
Hi, I’m Chandni. Before qualifying as a therapist, I worked in the financial services sector for almost 10 years. My own experiences of struggling with confidence and anxiety are part of what led me into counselling- a search to feel more secure and connected.
The way I practise is shaped by how I understand emotional experience. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I’m interested in the meaning behind what we feel and the role a therapeutic relationship can play in supporting lasting change.
In my view, unwanted or painful feelings can often signal that something needs attention or understanding. I’m interested in working with these experiences — exploring what they might be telling us and how they’ve come to be there. Sometimes this leads to change over time; sometimes it involves staying with what’s difficult, and having it witnessed and held. Both can be valuable.
For some people, the work unfolds gradually through reflection and understanding. For others, therapy offers a space to pause, speak openly, and feel less alone. I’m committed to staying present, even when things feel uncertain or slow to shift.
The therapeutic relationship is an important part of the work for me, and I aim to offer the kind of nurturing conditions that support balance and growth over time. This can extend beyond the therapy space, shaping how you relate to yourself and others.
