Life transitions
Living through change
Life is full of changes. Some we choose, and others are chosen for us. We might start a new job, be made redundant, move home, begin or end a relationship, retire, or find ourselves entering a new stage of life that we never expected.
Change has a way of turning our lives upside down, whether it's something we've chosen or something that's been forced upon us. It can be incredibly stressful and overwhelming, completely changing the shape of our lives as we try to adjust to a new reality.
Sometimes it becomes difficult to think clearly, make decisions, or imagine how you're going to get through it. When the life you've known no longer feels steady, having someone alongside you can become an anchor. Someone who can help you carry what you're going through, offer stability when everything else feels as though it's shifting, and stay with you while you find your way through.
Being in the in-between
Sometimes, after things have changed, there isn't an obvious way forwards. One chapter has ended, but the next hasn't quite begun. It can feel as though life has paused, leaving you in a place of uncertainty while you work out what comes next.
Being in-between can feel uncomfortable. There can be pressure to make a decision, move forwards, or have everything figured out. But these periods of uncertainty are often part of transition itself. Sometimes they give us the space to pause, reflect, and gradually discover where we want to go next, rather than rushing into the next chapter before we're ready. - Explore this with me
Starting again
Sometimes starting again can feel exciting. Maybe a relationship has ended, you've changed careers, or you've decided to take your life in a different direction. The future can feel like a blank page, full of possibilities and hope for what your life might become and who you might be next.
But starting again isn't always like that. Sometimes it happens piece by piece. Day by day. You might feel as though you're back at the beginning again, slowly piecing your life back together without really knowing where it's all leads. - Begin here
